Heath Ledger Found Dead- Possible Suicide

Got some sad news- my husband phoned me earlier today and maintained that actor Heath Ledger was found dead this afternoon. There had been earlier speculation ( actually published and later retracted) that he was found in Mary Kate Olsen’s apartment(!) The actor was found in his Manhattan apartment in an apparent overdose of sleeping pills. It is not clear if the over dose was accidental and may not be known until autopsy complete. Full report not available for several weeks. He was found at around 3:30 and the afternoon and could not be revived.
Heath starred in many films, including Brokeback Mountain, The Monster’s Ball and The Patriot. he was nominated for Academy Award for his work in Brokeback Mountain.

The 28 year old leaves behind a two year old daughter with Michelle Williams.
He was working on two films, “The Dark Knight” and “The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus .

My husband and I were just commenting on how sad it what a shock it was- for an actor burning so brightly in his career to be just gone like that. Reminds me of when I found out River Phoenix had died.
