Argh. I am in Canada and cant get iphone app for Howard with an American Sirius account. I also can tlisten to Howard on Pocket Tunes app anymore. Pocket Tunes is was such a great app!!
Sirius now used a flash based player for its online content- AND iphone does not support flash. DOUBLE ARGH.
Meant to post this yesterday- some of Howard Sterns whack packers really creep me out and Elephant Boy is top of my skeave out list. I can’t stand him!
Today had to hear his creepiness throughout interview with woman eating dog food and then another what seemed like an hour interview. Too much !!!!
Am I alone in this ?
My thoughts on whether on not Howard will resign and stay with Sirius radio are in a word – yes he will.
I think the guilt of all those people he cares about having to find jobs will kill kill him plus he has such and evolved work ethic. I have been noticing a lot of filibustering about what a great job he has done for Sirius which leads me to believe he is in some kind of negotiations.
I do think the format lf the show will change. I think the Howard Stern show may go to 3 days instead of four. Look for even longer and more frequent breaks-impossible 3 months off in the Summer.
And maybe even a time shift to later in day and no more 6 o’clock start time.
Howard Stern mentioned several times since his engagement to Beth O. that he would be getting a tattoo of Beth’s initial on his ring finger instead of the tradition wedding band.
I actually think this marriage will work and he makes a great deal of effort into making his relationships work- especially with Beth.
In August he had the tattoo done by his favourite tattoo artist, Shanghai Kate. ( Note if I wear ever to get a tattoo- Shannhai Kate is who I would want to do it! ) .

I don’t know why but I found this interview very irritating. I REALLY want to like Alanis Morissette but she is just .. flaky.
I am Canadian and have been a huge fan of her music from the beginning. . Her personality is a bit coy and like she is trying too hard to be mysterious and all knowing. It SOUNDS like she has been to shrink 5 days a week ( she admitted this to Howard on the show). She has to be messed up. Is it only the super rich that need this much therapy? I am not sure this is something I would be proud of…
Still can’t get over she was head over heels in love with Dave Coullier.
( of Full House Tv show- yes the one with Olsen twins , John Stamos and Bob Saget) . He is quite possibly the most irritating character on tv- ever. One of my kids watches Full House in re-runs and he is like nails on a chalkboard.
STUNNED he inspired such great music. The song, “You Oughta Know” from Jagged Little Pill is in fact inspired by the break up of Alanis Morissette and Dave Coulier confirmed by Alanis Morissette today on Howard’s show. BLECH.

Also another Artie connection for him Alanis. He revealed he worked on Mad TV with the woman Dave Coulier left Alanis for.. then with Ryan Reynolds in Toronto on Dirty Work and – Bob Saget directed Dirty Work and starred on Full house with Dave Coulier.
Poor Alanis- her last boyfriend , Ryan Reynolds left her last year for the perfect Scarlet Johansson, but as Howard pointed out Scarlet is only 23 and will eventually dump him. GOOD!
